Director Christina Kelly-Hunter, MFT, CMT, CPT   About Our Providers    She enjoys facilitating parenting and multi-family groups and has worked with many clients suffering with anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder. Her clinical philosophy is based on being honest with ourselves, overcoming fear and the ability to make positive changes in our lives. Patricia believes in the benefit of meditation and relaxation as well as the holistic approach to healing.   Christina is the founder and director of the Center for Psychotherapy & Family Education and CenterPeace Wellness Pathway Programs. Her career path has included an extensive professional background in Psychology, Couple and Family Therapy, Divorce Mediation, Child and Family Developmental Assessment and Jungian orientated dream analysis, typology and psyche awareness, growth and development. Her professional resume also includes Adjunct Professor at Quinnipiac University, consultation with authors and professionals in the field of Divorce, HelpHorizons.com and advanced clinical supervision.   Richard A. Covello, L.Ac. / Traditional Chinese Acupuncture Richard is the founder of A Path with Heart Center for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Richard is a graduate of Oriental Medicine and the State University of New York Center at Binghamton. He is Board Certified by the National Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Christina's objective and collaborative goal with her clients is to enhance - their sense of joy, professional and personal fulfillment and life balance. Christina assists her clients identify their potential, innate energy, personal desires, personal and professional vision. She is also a certified Pilates trainer, certified Meditation teacher, Reiki Master, her current interest is Transpersonal Psychology and has recently undertaken studies and research in Nepal. Jodi Silverman MSW,LCSW / Licensed Clinical Worker Jodi has 20 years of experience as a LCSW. Within the many years of Jodi's clinical experience she has assisted; individuals, couples, families and children alleviate the symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, loss and grief and guided them to a more joyous and healthy life style. Jodi is especially interested and experienced in working with the Gay, lesbian and the bi sexual community (GLBTQ ) and the personal and relationship challenges that they experience Jodi is also certified in Critical Incident Stress Management and Disaster Mental Health. Jodi served with distinction as the Mental Health Officer and instructor for the Red Cross for several years. Currently Jodi is a member of the State's Crisis Response Team which provides crisis management to members of the EMS, Police and Fire Departments, as well as the State Behavioral Management Crisis Team to all Children and Families in traumatic situations. Jodi's engaging and spirited therapy style creates a healthy environment for change. She helps the client answer the question "who am I?" and aims to alleviate the feelings of sadness, emptiness, tension, anger and confusion that surround the question. Jodi assists her clients to create and sustain positive and loving relationships. Treatment will help clients achieve a feeling of self acceptance, a positive sense of self and greater self esteem.    Dana is a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Clinical Psychologist. Her expertise is in the area of individual and family health, lifestyle change, and adjustment/recovery from illness. Health and lifestyle areas addressed include stress management, weightloss, smoking cessation, sleep difficulties, and health/medical related decision-making and communication. Joe has extensive experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. During the past several years his clinical interest has been in the areas of adolescent treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings. Joe’s objective for his clients is to increase their functioning level within the family and community. He incorporates family and community resources while he applies solution focused planning, crisis intervention, Structural, Cognitive-Behavioral and Systemic therapy. He has led adolescent groups on Substance Abuse, Anger Management, and Depression. Melissa Yetso, MSW, LCSW / Clinical Social Worker, Child Play Therapist Michael J. Wernasz, MSW, DCH. / Clinical Social Worker Michael has 35 years of experience in the field of mental health and addiction services. His training experiences include the Bowen Institute of Family Therapy in Washington, D.C., Structural Family Therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic and a certificate and doctorate from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy in California. Other academic accomplishments include the publication of several papers in the field of Family Therapy and Addiction and he has provided training to alcohol certification counselors; police departments and fellow professionals in New Jersey. Michael has an extensive background in counseling adolescents and addictions.   Patricia graduated from The University of Connecticut with a concentration in group therapy. The objective of Patricia's therapeutic process is the realization and expression of the internal strengths each of her clients possess, and how to utilize these strengths to promote healthy changes. She has extensive clinical experience with children, adults and families. Melissa received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver. Her clinical interest and specialized training has been with young children and their families. Melissa has extensive experience in treating and counseling children, adolescents and adults in the areas of Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and Adjustment Disorders such as divorce, grief or loss. Her approach is multimodal and includes utilizing play therapy techniques to help children express themselves and resolve conflict.   In addition to Melissa's individual therapy work, she conducts a Skill Building, Stress & Anger Management groups for pre-school and kindergarten age children. Melissa provides consultation for parents and caretakers in the area of Child Development and Parenting. She is also a Student Assistant Counselor for the Town of Guilford's Youth & Family Services at Adams Middle School.
